North Las Vegas explorer program

Through classroom instruction, hands-on training and volunteer work, Explorers gain a base of knowledge and experience that benefit them not only in fire service careers but in all future endeavors. The program encourages safety, accountability, fitness, communication, teamwork and leadership.

The Explorer Program is open to high school and college students ages 15-21. Meetings are conducted from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on scheduled Sundays. Each meeting includes classroom instruction and hands-on drills with exposure to fire equipment and suppression techniques.
