Prepare for your Exam

POLICE TEST TUTORS

Police Test Tutors’ mission is to help participants prepare for and pass the Peace Officers Standard Training (POST) Written Exam administered by California police academies and law enforcement agencies.

Our Mission

Police Test Tutors’ mission is to help participants prepare for and pass the Peace Officers Standard Training (POST) Written Exam administered by California police academies and law enforcement agencies. To help candidates succeed, we offer intensive face-to-face workshops, online webinars, and an online Pass the POST Course. Our workshops have helped those interested in becoming police officers for law enforcement agencies across the state such as the California Highway Patrol, sheriff departments and police agencies achieve their desired score, known as the “T-score.”

We present with several law enforcement agencies such as the CHP, San Jose PD, Sacramento PD, Sacramento County Sheriffs, Fresno PD, Santa Barbara County Sheriffs, Oakland PD, and others. We have been preparing candidates to take the POST test for over 15 years.

Our Workshops and Courses

Police Test Tutors workshops both face-to-face and online are typically offered on weekday evenings, or Saturday or Sunday for two – three hours. These workshops and webinars are free. The online Pass the POST Course is an intensive class that helps candidates to maximally prepare for the POST Test. The course is accessible 24/7, has no expiration date, and has a very high pass rate. There is a one time fee for this course. Click here for to see a short video.

Each Pass the POST Test Online Course participant is given a modified, simulated, POST-like pre-test to assess his or her strengths and weakness on each component of the practice exam. The student receives t-scores for each simulated POST exam taken in the course. At the end of the course, each participant takes an exit test to see how much he or she has learned and to determine in what areas the participant needs additional help. Note: Participants are not given the actual POST test. Only law enforcement agencies may administer the state test. We simulate questions that help participants hone their grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading, and Cloze skills that are needed for the exam.
